            Thank you very much for your participation in last night’s Waterway No. 1 Design meeting.  We appreciated the opportunity for our neighbors to meet you in person and your responses to questions that surfaced at the meeting.  Most importantly, we appreciate your continued involvement in our process and our effort to create a wonderful community amenity out of this long neglected state waterway.  Your knowledge of state law and the waterway regulations has been invaluable to our community.

             The progress we have made would not have been possible without your willingness to work with our community and to develop and nurture a cooperative relationship with the Seattle Department of Transportation.  We are grateful for your commitment to this project.  We look forward to working with you as we continue to move forward.
