Exciting News!! LASER is starting a brand new Pre-K program opening September 2010!

We are very excited about our new 'Rising Stars Pre-K at LASER' Kindergarten Readiness program starting in September 2010!
The Rising Stars Pre-K at LASER program is for children who are four and five years old who will be entering Kindergarten the following year.  Classes will be offered 5 days a week, Monday through Friday from 9:15am-1:15pm (start time coinciding with Laurelhurst Elementary start time).  The class is limited to 16 children.  We will provide a 1:8 teacher/child ratio.

Open house/Pre-K Director Meet & Greet will be held from 6:00-7:00 pm on the following Wednesdays:
January 6, January 20, February 10, February 24, March 10, 2010

In addition you can schedule private tours.

Our activities are planned each week and will introduce language arts, pre-literacy and math concepts, science and geography in a fun learning environment.  Our program has a diversified curriculum that will also offer creative movement and language instruction during the school year and have monthly field trips into the community.

Our Director, Andrea Mills has over 10 years of experience working in the early childhood field.  She is passionate about working with young children, helping them learn and grow.  Andrea is excited about the new preschool program and is looking forward to many good years to come!

Our Assistant Director, Eric Noble, will also be working in the preschool program. He has previously worked at Boys and Girls Club and has worked at LASER for over 2 years. Eric has many years of experience working in the child care field with children of all ages. He is thrilled to be on board with the preschool program.
Program registration begins January 4, 2010.
