RE: Radford Court Apartments Follow-up re Initiative 42 and Other Issues and Sand Point/Magnuson Park
Dear Theresa,
Thank you very much for looking into the issues recently raised by the Laurelhurst Community Club and others relating to Initiative 42 and other matters involving the Radford Court Apartments at Sand Point/Magnuson Park. Throughout the entire redevelopment process of University housing at Sand Point, we have found Lorig Associates very responsive to community concerns, consistently demonstrating a willingness to listen to and work with interested and impacted communities. The Laurelhurst Community Club, however, has a long history of support and commitment to Initiative 42. We appreciate your efforts in working with Lorig to ensure that parkland is used for park purposes and any possible violation of Initiative 42 is avoided.
We look forward to implementation of your final landscaping plan and your open house in September to celebrate completion of the first phase of this important project.
Sincerely,
|
