RE: Community Center Expansion Survey Results from Laurelhurst Website
Dear David,
Attached are the results of the community wide survey to assess community priorities and preferences on community center expansion that the Laurelhurst Community Club received on its website. In the short time period to respond, 63 neighbors participated in the self-tabulating version of the survey that we provided on our website.
In providing this service to Laurelhurst neighbors and those within our park service area, we were fortunate to have the capable assistance of individuals who designed and implemented the website technology for a similar self-tabulating survey relating to expansion of the Montlake Community Center. Our Laurelhurst webmaster then transformed the raw data into a summary document for the Parks Department, the design team and members of the project advisory team. The survey results from our website conform to the format of the hard-copy survey provided to neighbors by the Parks Department for the Laurelhurst Community Center.
The Laurelhurst Community Club is pleased to assist in ensuring the broadest community participation possible as we move forward with this expansion project. We appreciate the cooperation we have received from the Parks Department.
