Re:  Signage

Dear Krista,

Thank you for contacting the Laurelhurst Community Club Board of Trustees about the signage you proposed for your business.  We appreciate your commitment to the neighborhood and your interest in ensuring that the signage integrates appropriately into our business district. 

The Board reviewed the photographs of the signage that you provided at its November meeting.  We appointed a committee at that time to follow up with you and Rossi Print Design to ensure that we understood the design, color scheme and placement of the signage.  At our December meeting the committee reported back and the Board unanimously approved your proposed signage and placement in the two locations proposed. 

To reiterate, the signs will be made of metal with print on top of the metal.  They will not be illuminate or have lights beaming on them.  The edge of the signs will match the color of the trim on the building and the wording and numbers will match the green on the awning on in the front of the building.  The sign on the front of the building, 45^th Street NE, will be no more than four feet by three feet, and the sign on the eastside of the building, NE 36^th Avenue, will be no more than four feet by six feet in dimension.  The design of the signs will ascetically integrate with the building.
