RE: Outreach regarding Children’s Proposed Expansion
Dear Haven,
The Laurelhurst Community Club (LCC) Board of Trustees has received the correspondence you sent to the Phinney Ridge neighborhood regarding presenting Children’s conceptual model for proposed expansion in that area and also asking for assistance from that community in getting your message heard. We agree with Phinney Ridge resident Irene Wall that it would be helpful for the tentatively scheduled December 13th event to have the views of the Laurelhurst community—the major stakeholder in the process—presented, at this event and others that you schedule. Residents in other areas of the city would undoubtedly be interested in the bigger picture and LCC’s insights.
Could you please provide a list of events you have scheduled or are in the process of scheduling, the communities involved and contact information for those with whom you have been in touch? The Laurelhurst Community Club would like to be involved in your outreach efforts.
Thank you for your assistance.
Sincerely,
Jeannie Hale, President
