RE: Expansion at Children’s Hospital
Dear Tom,
The Laurelhurst Community Club Board of Trustees was very disappointed to receive information this morning from Desiree Leigh regarding meetings that you have planned on your own with our neighbors regarding your proposed expansion. After we recently met for coffee, it was my impression that the Community Club, Children’s and the Department of Neighborhoods would work collaboratively in educating neighbors about your proposed expansion, the master planning process and how neighbors can become involved. Because of the divisiveness and lack of trust of Children’s Hospital that resulted from the last master planning process, we believe that the process will be more successful if we all work together.
If you are unwilling to work together as we discussed at our meeting last week, please let me know right away. Thank you.
